Winner of 10 Tony Awards including Best Musical and Best Actor in a Musical. David Alvarez, Trent Kowalik and Kiril Kulish, for the first time time in Tony history, are the only performers to have jointly won a Tony Award for their alternating performances of a single role: the title character of Billy Elliot.
In addition to the many awards won by Billy Elliot, Nora Brennan received the Artios Award from Casting Society of America for Outstanding Casting of a Broadway Musical as Children's Casting Director for Billy Elliot. Tara Rubin Casting also received an Artios Award as Adult Casting Director for Billy Elliot.
