Casting Role of BILLY ELLIOT - Video Submissions - EXTENDED DEADLINE!

Nora Brennan Casting is working with Working Title Films
to cast the role of BILLY ELLIOT in the upcoming
UK production of BILLY ELLIOT The Musical on the West End, London.
All US and Canadian boys who are interested, please see information below.

All interested boys must be available from June 2026.

Accepting submissions now through January 19, 2026

Selected performers will be asked to learn a few combinations and
put that on video for submission. Finalists will be selected and invited to a
workshop/callback in March, 2026 in New York City.

SEEKING:	Boys aged 9 to 14 years. Some ballet experience preferred. Tap is a bonus. Under 5 ft with unchanged voices only.
PREPARE:	Round 1 - VIDEO SUBMISSION We would like for you to film your child dancing a solo in a studio. Any solo that they've rehearsed or performed will work. If they do not have a pre-choreographed solo, they can improvise to music. Please do not send video from a competition performance. We prefer to have this taped in a dance studio. In addition, we would like to see them do turns in second (8 or 16 counts). Please ensure that any videos are combined into one file (.MOV or .MP4). Name the file with your child’s name and BILLY26. (For example: TomSmith-BILLY26.mov). When filming, please hold the camera or iPhone/Android in landscape (horizontal) mode. Do not hold camera/phone vertically. Please DO NOT film in 4K; please use standard definition. Please upload the finished video submission to YouTube or Vimeo. For YouTube users, please make the video private and share the link with us via the email below. Also make sure under "Audience" your video is set to "Made for kids." For Vimeo users, please password protect the video and include the password along with the video link in your email.

TO SUBMIT:	PLEASE SEND ALL REQUESTED MATERIALS IN ONE EMAIL TO: billy@norabrennancasting.com Include in this email: 1. Your child’s name in the subject line 2. Link to your video on Vimeo or YouTube (if using Vimeo, send the password along with link) 3. Completed Information Sheet attached as a PDF file 4. Headshot and resume (if your child has a resume) attached as a PDF, JPEG or PNG file. Please keep all file sizes under 3MB.
IMPORTANT INFORMATION	Once we view the submitted video, your child may be asked to learn additional materials. We will reach out to you directly with this request. This would require them to learn a few combinations and video taping these combinations, we will also ask them to sing a song or sing "happy birthday". Finalists will be asked to come to New York City in February or early March for a workshop and final callbacks.
